There's a different between the Mediterranean zone and the Desert . Along the Libyan coast Autumn and spring are the best periods to travel (mild temperature, not very hot) Winter cool and rainy. On summer it is humid/hot and temperature rises to 30 degrees. In the desert the best period is from October to April. Day temperature between 20 deg. and 25 deg. During the night up to 0 deg. between December and February. In the remaining months warm days temperature 25 deg. 35 deg. and tepid nights temperature 15 deg. 18 deg. Summer temperatures around 50 deg. On springtime blows the "Ghibli", a dry and warm wind.

To obtain the Libyan visa you need:
1. Passport with at least 6 months of validity.
2. Two colours photos (passport size)
3. Authorized bilingual stamp.
4. At least two pages of your passport available.
5. No stamps or issued by Israel.

Arab (all indications are in this language). English is spoken in the cities.
